New "I Bake Therefore I Run" Designs

It's hard to believe but it's already been a year since I designed the first set of "I bake therefore I run" designs and posted them here. There have been a few more that I've wanted create but haven't had time to work on them until now.

Busy...

I haven't had the time lately to post or even to create something to post because I have been very busy taking two web design classes and organizing an art show for January 2010. The show is going to be a juried exhibition and I have been on a tight deadline to do the call for entries and figure out all of the details. So there has been lots of classes, homework, meetings and graphic design work going on here and not much to share. But I will show the basic layout of the web design that I am working on for one of my classes. Here it is...

Glass + Silver Foil + Vintage Insect Engravings = Fabulous

I have been having fun the past few days making these beauties! Don't you just love them! I am so excited about these!



I have always been in love with vintage engravings especially the botanical and zoological engravings. I have a small collection of books filled with these illustrations that I have referenced for this project. Don't worry... they are all copyright free!



I have listed a few in my Etsy Shop already and will be adding some more over the next few days.



I also have some other design oriented pendants in the works so check back often. If you have a few moments I would love to hear what you think!

New Designs in my Cafe Press Shop!!!

Yeay!!! I finally added a new design to my Cafe Press Shop. I am hoping to get better at creating designs and getting them up more quickly. I have a tendency to start things and not finish them. Usually I lose momentum or get bored with them but lately it's because I've been so busy. I have lots of ideas but it's just a matter of discipline for me to get them realized. So without further ado here are a few of my new items...

Announcing my Cafe Press shop!!!

Here it is!!! I have finally opened my Cafe Press shop! For starters, I am offering my mandala designs on select products. I have ordered a sample of every product that I am offering in the store and have been very pleased with the quality of the items. I especially love the keepsake boxes!



The boxes have hinged lids and are fully lined on the interior and the bottom. The artwork is printed on a nice ceramic tile that is inset into the lid. The finish is a nice laquer finish that comes in either mahogony or black.



The journals are unlined paper in a spiral binding. Great for quick sketching or jotting down ideas.



The ornaments are ceramic with a satin ribbon for hanging.



I am also offering all of the designs as magnets.
