Here are some finished ACEO's. I finally had some time to scan them. The mandalas are done in watercolor & colored pencil with the exception of the last one which is only watercolor.

Art Is...
Art is abstract thoughts in visual form. Art is an outward expression for inner peace of mind. Art gives substance to forms. Art is potentiality. Art is pain masked by colors and shapes. Art is a dream written down. Art is learning how to see. Art is freedom. Art is the choice. Art is a concentrated dose of reality. Art is non-conformist. Art is a morse code message from the soul. Art is a wake up call to society. Art is an addiction to truth. Art is a perfect world. Art is a whisper. Artis a scream.Art is on the wall. Art is on the floor. Art is on the street. Art is everywhere. Art is life. Lesa Sullins
This Is Who I Am...
My person is not a little hard core inside of me, a fully-formed statue that is real and authentic, permanent and fixed. If I am anything as a person, it is what I... think judge feel value honor esteem love hate fear desire hope for believe in and am committed to. These are the things that define my person, and they are constantly in process, in the process of change. In other words, if you knew me yesterday, please do not think that it is the same person you are meeting today. I have experienced more of life, I have encountered new depths in those I love, I have suffered and prayed, and I am different. Approach me, then, with a sense of wonder, study my face and hands and voice for the signs of change--for it is certain that I have changed. Adapted from John Powell, SJ
The Garden
There once was a woman who longed to have a flower garden. Each year she would visit her neighbor, who had the most beautiful garden she had ever see, and he would give her cuttings and seeds for her own garden.
But when she would return home, she would change her mind saying, "But my neighbor's garden is so much lovelier than anything I could hope to grow. And he knows so much more about gardening--I could never hope to grow a garden half so lovely as that. Why should I even try?"
One day her neighbor stopped by her home and saw that she had not one flower growing anywhere around her house.
"I've provided you with so much," he said, " and yet you have done nothing at all with what I have given you!"
And so it is with each of us. The Lord gives us talents and expects us to develop them. We cannot judge our worth by comparing ourselves to others, but must bloom and grow the best we can with what we have been given. Unknown
