ScribblerToo

Just wanted to post this link to ScribblerToo. I've been having some fun doodling on this site and have found it to be a great way to "loosen up". Even if you don't like to doodle try it out... I think you will enjoy it. It also gives you the option to save the images to your computer. It's like drawing with spider webs.
Here are some of my doodles:

Portrait. Dave started this one and I finished it.

Snail in the grass. Seeing how far can push it. My magic mouse makes it difficult to control. I will try the stylus next time.

Latest Cloud Pictures

I love clouds especially at sunset. I have been taking photos of the clouds from my back yard since 2006. About 2-3 years ago I found out about the 365 Cloud Project and thought what a cool project. Then I found the Facebook page for the project and thought WOW there are a LOT of other people out there who also like to photograph clouds! Now in year 3, the Cloud 365 Project is still as fascinating if not more so as it has morphed into a whole community of cloud documentarians through the use of social media via Facebook & Twitter. If you like clouds I HIGHLY encourage you to check out the links.

About these photos... These photos were taken on July 18, 2011 in the span of less than 4 1/2 minutes with a Canon PowerShot SD1100IS. In total there were 19 photos with these seven being the ones I decided to post.

New Paintings & the DAM Small(er) Show

I have been painting like a fiend to have some work to submit for the DAM Small(er) Show in August. The show will run August 5-27 and is a cash and carry show so the work may not be up for the duration of the show. All works are 8" or smaller and $250 or less. Here is a preview of some of the work I submitted. Twelve pieces were submitted in total and I am happy to say that all have been accepted.

OOPS... Dried paint!

Been painting like a fiend and forgot to wipe off my palette knife! Had to pull out my trusty X-acto to get the paint off. Almost 20 years of paint residue now gone... Painting photos coming soon.
